On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, North Harford Middle School kicked off the 2025–2026 school year with a celebration fit for the Hawks! Students arrived to cheers from staff, dignitaries, and community leaders, while the school also marked the 50th anniversary of its building.
To set the tone for a golden year ahead, buses were led through the loop by Atlantic Tractor in John Deere green and gold. Superintendent Dr. Sean Bulson, members of his Executive Council, County Executive Bob Cassilly, County Council President Patrick Vincenti, and Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler joined teachers and staff in welcoming students as they arrived.
Principal Marc Manzo and the North Harford Middle team were eager to greet the students returning to campus, including more than 250 brand-new sixth graders starting their middle school journey.
The anniversary made this first day especially meaningful. With gold as the highlight color for the milestone year, the bus loop and school entrance were filled with green-and-gold spirit as students walked into the building.
From the smiles at arrival to the energy in classrooms, the Hawks started the year strong. North Harford Middle looks forward to carrying this enthusiasm throughout the 2025–2026 school year.
